Notice to existing clients about our compliance with the Federal Privacy Law

On January 1, 2004, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA") came into effect for all businesses and non-profit organizations such as 1000 Islands Community Development Corporation that collect, use, retain and disclose personal information obtained from its clients in the course of its commercial activities.

Subject to applicable laws and with specific exceptions to protect the privacy of third parties, clients may access their personal information held by 1000 Islands Community Development Corporation by submitting a request for access, in writing, to 1000 Islands Community Development Corporation's Chief Privacy Officer.
